This weeks challenge is based upon the Sketch Challenge below, designed by Teneale Williams:

How about you have a go with this Sketch Challenge?
I would love to see what you come up with!

Here's My Card:

I started my card with a Basic Grey card base. My first layer was some Peony Garden Designer Series Paper. This was  followed by a strip of Smoky Slate scalloped on one side, topped with a strip of Petal Pink Cardstock which was embossed with the Subtle Embossing Folder.
I then cut from Whisper White, A Circle using the Circle Dies. The stamped image is from the Queen Anne's Lace stamp set. The stems and flower base were stamped with Basic Grey ink and the flowers have been stamped with Petal Pink.
The Sentiment, also from the same stamp set is stamped with Basic Gray on a Smoky Slate strip.
My card is finished with Basic Pearls and a bow made from Petal Pink Organdy Ribbon.

The inside is layered with Petal Pink, then Whisper White. Image is the same as the front of the card from the Queen Anne's Lace stamp set, stamped with the same colours, Basic Grey and Petal Pink.
I have finished the inside with some splatters of Smoky Slate and Petal Pink.

Due to the weather being unfriendly outside, it left me a little more time to play inside.

Here's My Cards:

This is from  A Touch Of Ink, Stamped on Vellum with Staz On Ink, Coloured with Blends and Markers and layered with Whisper White and Black Cardstock on a Whisper White Cardbase. Finished with Pearl Basic Jewels. The Sentiment, from the same stamp set, is Heat Embossed with White on a Scalloped Black Circle, popped up with Dimensionals. (Inspiration from Tina Wardell)

These cards are made using A Touch Of Ink, The bird has been stamped with Momento Ink and coloured using Stampin Up blends and then fussy cut. The Sentiment also from this stamp set has been Heat embossed with White Embossing Powder. The paper is another FREEBIE available, Oh So Ombre DSP, it is just beautiful, both sides and each and every piece. The top left hand corners have been curled using a bone folder and rolled over and attached with a dimensional. All cards have been layered onto a Thick Whisper White Cardbase. The sentiment strip is layered on dimensionals, the bird is attached with multipurpose glue and finished with Pearl Basic Jewels.
Colours from Left to Right are Bermuda Bay/Granny Apple Green, Rococo Rose/Bermuda Bay, Granny Apple Green/Blackberry Bliss.
(Inspiration from Alisa Tilsner)

My last card also uses A Touch Of Ink and the Oh So Ombre DSP. Three Strips of DSP have been cut, the same size and layered on a Blackberry Bliss cardbase leaving a small space between. 2 scalloped circles have been cut using Blackberry Bliss and 2 Circles from Whisper White which have been stamped using Blackberry Bliss Ink. My Sentiment this time is from Good Morning Magnolia as I felt the Thinking of you in this stamp set was just not quite large enough. (Inspiration from Carol Payne)

Here's My Card:

I started my card with a Misty Moonlight card base. My first layer was Magenta Madness which was embossed with the Scripty 3D Embossing Folder. This was  followed by a strip of Flowers for Every Season DSP and then another strip of the reverse side of the Flowers for Every Season DSP under this was a scalloped piece of Cinnamon Cider cardstock. I fussy cut 2 flowers from the same DSP and put them under a strip of Bumblebee cardstock stamped in Cinnamon Cider with "Hello" from Grace's Garden stamp set, these were popped up with mini dimensionals. The front was finished with 3 Gold metallic pearls and some gold metallic trim tied with a bow.

INKspired #128 Colour Challenge

Hi everyone,
Welcome to this fortnight's INKspired Blog Hop!

Before me on the hop was Maree McIntosh, who I'm sure gave you inspiration with her wonderful creation using the Colour Combo Challenge below:

Make sure you hop all the way around to check out the wonderful and talented creations everyone has contributed this time round!

How about you have a go with this Colour Challenge?
I would love to see what you come up with!

This colour challenge would have to be the hardest combination of colours for me to gain inspiration, I knew I wanted to use the Good Morning Magnolia Stampset as I wanted something different from a Christmas Card, but how and what was my dilemma!

Here's My Card:

I started with a Sahara Sand card base. My first layer was also Sahara Sand which was popped up with dimensionals, followed by Sahara Sand and Misty Moonlight alternating card strips. These were all attached using multipurpose glue. I also added a piece of Mossy Meadow Striped Ribbon. My flower, from the Good Morning Magnolia Stampset was stamped using Stazon Ink onto Whisper White Thick Cardstock, I stamped 2 images. The colouring was done my using a sponge dauber and Mossy Meadow Ink for the leaves on one image and a Rococo Rose Marker, blender pen and some Wink of Stella Clear Glitter Brush for the flower on the other image. Both images were die cut using the Magnolia Memory Dies, the flower image I cut away the leaves using my snips and layered it on top of the other image of leaves. Using the sponge dauber can get a little messy trying to stay within the lines so layering the flower on top saved this. The leaves were curled using my bone folder then attached to the card layer using multipurpose glue. My sentiment, also from the Good Morning Magnolia Stampset, was stamped using Misty Moonlight on the Sahara Sand strip. I finished the card with some Pearl Basic Jewels.

The inside is layered with Misty Moonlight, then Whisper White. The saying, from Good Morning Magnolia Stampset and has been stamped in Misty Moonlight. The magnolia, from the same stampset has been stamped with Stazon Ink and coloured with a Rococo Rose Marker and Blender Pen, The leaves are coloured using a Water Painter, without the water and Mossy Meadow Ink. Three corners were given the Trio Punch treatment. The layers have been attached using multipurpose glue.

Thank you for stopping by, next up is Narelle Macey,
Looking forward to seeing what she has created this time round

INKspired #127 Sketch Challenge

Hi everyone.
Welcome to this fortnight's INKspired Blog Hop!

Before me on the hop was Sharon Arklay who I'm sure provided inspiration using the Sketch Challenge below, designed by Teneale Williams:

Not long until Christmas is here!

Here's My Card:

I started my card with a Whisper White card base. My first layer was from the  Heartwarming Hugs DSP, this was followed by a Pear Pizzazz strip embossed with the Scripty 3D Embossing Folder. My rectangle is cut from Whisper White. These are topped with some Mossy Meadow Diagonal Striped Ribbon, this was all adhered to the card base with multipurpose liquid glue. My lady gnome is from the Gnome for the Holidays stamp set and is stamped in Momento Black ink. I coloured her with an assortment of Stampin Markers and Stampin Blends. I used the Layering Oval Dies to cut around the gnome and also used a scalloped Layering Oval die and cut another piece from the same DSP - Heartwarming Hugs but using the reverse side, these were attached to the card using dimensionals. The sentiment, also from Gnome for the Season is stamped in Versamark and heat embossed with White Embossing Powder on a strip of Pear Pizzazz cardstock which I cut at and angle on one end with snips.

I finished the card with 3 Pearl Basic Jewels which I coloured using a Real Red Stampin Blender Pen.

The inside is layered with Pear Pizazz, then Whisper White. The Pear Pizzazz has been stamped around the outside in Pear Pizzazz Ink with the same image as the card front, only just her hat which is also a tree. The Whisper White layer is stamped with the same hat/tree image and sentiment is also from the Gnome for the Holidays stamp set stamped in Versamark and heat embossed with Copper Embossing Powder. The tree has then been coloured with Stampin Blends. Both layers were attached using multipurpose liquid glue.

Thank you for stopping by, next up is Narelle Macey,

Christmas is only 54 days away
These colours just screamed Christmas as soon as I saw them.

Here's My Card:

I started with a Merry Merlot card base. My first layer was Just Jade, followed by Basic Grey which was embossed with the Tin Tile Embossing Folder, I also added a little Versamark to the embossing folder to add a little shine. I then cut a smaller rectangle from the Just Jade In Colour 2020-2022 DSP as a base for my ornaments, these are from the Christmas Gleaming Stampset, the ornaments were stamped with Merry Merlot on Whisper White and Merry Merlot Cardstock and cut out with the Gleaming Ornaments Punches. I cut 2 strips of Shaded Spruce cardstock and embossed these with the Subtle Embossing Folder to give an impression of ribbon. Two layers of leaves were cut from the Forever Flourishing Dies from Shaded Spruce Cardstock. I arranged the ornaments and attached them with multipurpose glue except one which was popped up with dimensionals. The leaves were attached with multipurpose glue and 3 pearls were stuck as holly. My sentiment is from Tag Buffet stampset and has been stamped with Merry Merlot on Whisper White cardstock and fussy cut, then attached with dimensionals.

The inside is layered with Just Jade, then Whisper White. The saying is from Tag Buffet Stampset and has been stamped in Merry Merlot. The Ornaments and leaves are the same as the front of the card which have all been attached using multipurpose glue.
