INK #154 Sketch Challenge

 Hi everyone,

It is wonderful to be back Blog Hopping again!

Please join us every month, I always look forward to seeing the designs everyone comes up with.

Welcome to this INKspired Blog Hop!

This hop is based upon the Sketch Challenge below, designed by Teneale Williams:

How about you have a go with this Sketch Challenge?
I would love to see what you come up with!

My card begins with a Basic White card base. My first layer is Rich Razzleberry which has been embossed with the Cascading Ruffles 3D folder.
I have then die cut 2 pieces of Wonderful World DSP and a piece of Basic White cardstock using the Stitched Rectangle Dies. I have layered these on some Rich Razzleberry cardstock which is cut using the paper trimmer adding another 5mm to the 1st layer, the 3rd layer is the reverse side of the Wonderful World DSP adding another 5mm, layers are adhered using Multipurpose Liquid Glue and attached to the card with Dimensionals in the pattern as per the Sketch provided.

My sentiment on Basic White is from the Go To Greetings stamp set from our annual catalogue, stamped in one of our 2022-2024 in colours Orchid Oasis. This has been cut also using the Stitched Rectangle Dies. The sentiment is layered on a piece of Rich Razzleberry cardstock and popped up with Dimensionals.

The Iris from the Wonderful World Stamp set, has been stamped, after being coloured with Pear Pizzazz - for the leaves and stem and Orchid Oasis markers, for the flower. I have then stamped the Iris Flower again on a separate piece of Basic White cardstock and fussy cut it and adhered it over the stamped flower to add a little more dimension.
The card front has been finished with 2022-2024 In Colour Matte Decorative Dots in Orchid Oasis.

The inside of my card has a Cornflour, also from the Wonderful World stampset, it carries the DSP on the front of the card to the inside. The Cornflour is also stamped as the Iris has been on the front, using Pear Pizzazz and Orchid Oasis and extra layer of the flower. A strip of Wonderful World DSP, as layered on the card front finishes the bottom of the card inside.

The Wonderful World stamp set and DSP is available only until the end of August from the current SALE a-bration! promotion. They are both FREE when you spend $180 on any Stampin' Up! products.

I started my card with a Basic White card base. For my first layer, I have used bermuda bay cardstock which I have embossed with one of the greenery embossing folders.
This was  followed by a layer of basic grey which I cut using the Scalloped Contour dies, I also used the scoring blade on my cutter and ran a score across each scallop, I attached this to the card front with dimensionals.
I used the penned flowers dies to cut 2 flower images from basic grey cardstock, these were adhered using multipurpose glue.
I stamped my floral image from the hand-penned petals set, in basic grey ink on basic white cardstock. I have coloured the flowers and leaves using stamps from the same set in Flirty Flamingo, Mango Melody and Old Olive Ink. This is die cut using the penned flowers dies and attached using dimensionals.
My sentiment comes from the hand-penned stamp set, has been stamped with white craft ink on a strip of bermuda bay card.
I have finished the card by adding 3 silver metallic pearls.

The inside is layered with basic white cardstock, die cut at each end using the scallop die from penned flowers dies. I have stamped each end with a speckled stamp from the hand-penned petals in mango melody.
My image and sentiment are both from the hand-penned petals stamp set and using flirty flamingo and old olive I have coloured the leaves and flowers.
I have finished the inside by splattering some bermuda bay ink and attached it using multipurpose adhesive.

I started my card with a Misty Moonlight card base. For my first layer, I have used Basic White Cardstock and a Blending Brush with Misty Moonlight Ink over one of the Adorning Designs Decorative Masks. The masks can be used at any angle to make your own DSP.
This was  followed by a layer of Basic White which I cut using the Scalloped Contour dies. My Sentiment comes from the Colour & Contour Stamp set, has been stamped with Misty Moonlight Ink.

INKspired #146 Sketch Challenge

Hi everyone.
Welcome to this fortnight's INKspired Blog Hop!
Life's events had forced me to take a short break but I am glad to be back and cannot wait to see what our talented team have for us this time round.
I hope everyone is safe and well.

Before me on the hop was Teresa Irwin, please hop back and check out her creation for this week.

This week is based upon the Sketch Challenge below, designed by Teneale Williams:

How about you have a go with this Sketch Challenge?
I would love to see what you come up with!

I started my card with a Cinnamon Cider card base. My first layer was Basic White which I embossed using the Brick & Mortar 3D Embossing folder that I added some Cinnamon Cider Ink to.
My stamp set of choice for this week is Feels Like Home from our SALE-a-bration catalogue which ends on the 30th September, not long now to get your freebies, just spend $90 and you get this set free!

My image has been stamped with Cinnamon Cider Ink, I have highlighted parts of the bike with a Dark Soft Succulent Stampin Blend. My leaves on the plants and tree have been sporadically coloured using both the Dark and Light Soft Succulent Blends. I have cut the image out using the Stitched Rectangle Dies. This has been adhered to a piece of Soft Succulent Cardstock which I have roughed up the edges using my paper Snips. I have used a length of Soft Succulent Open Weave Ribbon around the bottom of the image another piece has been tied to it by just using a knot, it has been adhered to the back of the card using glue dots. I have mounted the image to the card base using Stampin Dimensionals.

My sentiment comes from the Pansy Patch stamp set which is in our annual catalogue, a personal favourite of mine.
My sentiment Happy Birthday, has been stamped in Cinnamon Cider ink on Soft Succulent Cardstock and has been die cut out using the Stitched Rectangle Dies.
It has been adhered to the card using Stampin Dimensionals and Glue dots.

My finishing touches to the card front were 3 basic pearl Jewels which I coloured using Soft Succulent Blends.

The inside is layered with Soft Succulent Cardstock, followed by Basic White. My sentiment comes from the Pansy Patch stamp set and has been stamped in Cinnamon Cider ink. My flower pot also stamped in Cinnamon Cider is from the Feels Like Home stamp set, this has touches of colour with a Soft Succulent Blend.

INKspired #141 Sketch

Hi everyone.
Welcome to this fortnight's INKspired Blog Hop!

Before me on the hop was Teresa Irwin, please hop back and check out her creation

This week is based upon the Sketch Challenge below, designed by Teneale Williams:

How about you have a go with this Sketch Challenge?
I would love to see what you come up with!

My card began with a Soft Succulent card base. I then cut a smaller layer from Soft Succulent Card and embossed it using the Greenery Embossing Folder. My strips are cut from the Hand Penned DSP and I also included a strip of Vellum which I embossed with the Greenery Embossing Folder. I topped the strips off with Soft Succulent Open Weave Ribbon.
My focal point of the card began with a scalloped circle in Daffodil Delight cut using a Scalloped Circle Die and a Basic White Circle also cut from the Layering Circle dies. My image has been stamped using Momento Ink and the image is from the Hand Penned Petals stamp set. The image is coloured using Blends in Daffodil Delight and Soft Succulent. My first attempt using the Gold Gilded Leafing proved that this will take some practice. My card has been finished with some Gold Metallic Pearls.

The inside is layered with Basic White Cardstock, a smaller scalloped circle cut from Daffodil Delight and a part of the flower, as on the front of the card, was stamped in Momento ink and coloured using Daffodil Delight and Soft Succulent Blends and a little Gilded Leafing added. A few splatters of Daffodil Delight were added using a Blend.

This week is based upon the Sketch Challenge below, designed by Teneale Williams:

There is no stamping this week, my card was made using DSP from the Snail Mail Suite which is in the Mini Catalogue that ends shortly on the 30th June.
My card began with a Bermuda Bay card base. My 2 rectangles were cut using my paper trimmer to no specific size from Daffodil Delight and Real Red, 2 pieces of DSP were then cut at half a centimetre smaller and layered with multipurpose liquid glue. My bow is tied with Grey Granite Shimmer Ribbon and attached using glue dots.
My Daffodil Delight piece was attached to the cardbase using dimensionals and the Real Red was attached at an angle with multipurpose liquid glue.
My circles were die cut using the Layering Circles in Bermuda Bay and Basic White. The Basic White circle was embossed using the Painted Texture 3D Embossing Folder.
My image and sentiment are fussy cut from the Snail Mail DSP and the image is attached using Multipurpose Liquid Glue and the sentiment is popped up on dimensionals.

The inside is layered with Daffodil Delight Cardstock to carry on from the front of the card, then Basic White with a strip of Snail Mail DSP and an image fussy cut from the Snail Mail DSP.
