INKspired #128 Colour Challenge

Hi everyone,
Welcome to this fortnight's INKspired Blog Hop!

Before me on the hop was Maree McIntosh, who I'm sure gave you inspiration with her wonderful creation using the Colour Combo Challenge below:

Make sure you hop all the way around to check out the wonderful and talented creations everyone has contributed this time round!

How about you have a go with this Colour Challenge?
I would love to see what you come up with!

This colour challenge would have to be the hardest combination of colours for me to gain inspiration, I knew I wanted to use the Good Morning Magnolia Stampset as I wanted something different from a Christmas Card, but how and what was my dilemma!

Here's My Card:

I started with a Sahara Sand card base. My first layer was also Sahara Sand which was popped up with dimensionals, followed by Sahara Sand and Misty Moonlight alternating card strips. These were all attached using multipurpose glue. I also added a piece of Mossy Meadow Striped Ribbon. My flower, from the Good Morning Magnolia Stampset was stamped using Stazon Ink onto Whisper White Thick Cardstock, I stamped 2 images. The colouring was done my using a sponge dauber and Mossy Meadow Ink for the leaves on one image and a Rococo Rose Marker, blender pen and some Wink of Stella Clear Glitter Brush for the flower on the other image. Both images were die cut using the Magnolia Memory Dies, the flower image I cut away the leaves using my snips and layered it on top of the other image of leaves. Using the sponge dauber can get a little messy trying to stay within the lines so layering the flower on top saved this. The leaves were curled using my bone folder then attached to the card layer using multipurpose glue. My sentiment, also from the Good Morning Magnolia Stampset, was stamped using Misty Moonlight on the Sahara Sand strip. I finished the card with some Pearl Basic Jewels.

The inside is layered with Misty Moonlight, then Whisper White. The saying, from Good Morning Magnolia Stampset and has been stamped in Misty Moonlight. The magnolia, from the same stampset has been stamped with Stazon Ink and coloured with a Rococo Rose Marker and Blender Pen, The leaves are coloured using a Water Painter, without the water and Mossy Meadow Ink. Three corners were given the Trio Punch treatment. The layers have been attached using multipurpose glue.

Thank you for stopping by, next up is Narelle Macey,
Looking forward to seeing what she has created this time round

Have a Wonderful Day, KATRINA xx
